Overall Board leadership and primary connection to key stakeholders

Leads communications, marketing and technology strategy and tactics to both enable and promote the Club and MHS soccer programs

Leadership and primary coordination for the primary shared fundraiser for the MHS soccer programs (i.e. Vertical Raise, etc.)

Coach Hopkins has spent 16 years of his coaching career at the helm of first the Minnetonka boys' soccer team and then the Minnetonka girls' team, coaching at Minnetonka High School from 2004-2020. In his time at MHS he spent 12 years coaching the girls team, leading them to two state championships (2013 and 2018), five 2AA section championships and a Lake Conference championship.

Ensures operating structures are in place to effectively meet the Board’s goals and objectives, including maintaining official records

Leadership and primary coordination for the Soccer Saturday fundraiser

Leadership and primary coordination for the Program Ad Sales

Parents and the boy's and girl's team serve as liaisons to the Striker Club, attending all Striker Club meetings, so all can work effectively together.

Manages and administers financial record-keeping and reporting for the Board’s activities

Serves as a connection point for MHS Soccer Program alumni – players and parents

Coach Rogers enters his 17th Year as Head Coach at MHS. Over the course of his tenure he has been named 2015 Minnetonka HS Boys Coach of the Year, 2014, 2018 Minnesota Section 2AA Coach of the Year, and the 2021 Minnesota Section 2AAA Coach of the Year.

Prior to coaching, Mike was a 1st Team HS All-American & 2-Time All-State (Illinois), Co-Captain & 4-Year Starter @ University of Virginia, and Offered US Olympic Team Try-Out (Declined Due to Injury).

Mike is also a Member of the University of Virginia Men's Soccer Advisory Board​and Former Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO of Ontrack Data International where he was MN Software Executive Of The Year and a 2-Time Finalist For Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year.
